This is the tag we'll be making, it's very simple, I nearly didn't write a tut but if you're looking for something quick and easy this is it! So, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Jonathon Earl Bowser (one of my favorite free artists, he has wonderful art!) please go to his website to check it out.

• Mask I used was 108 MaskKelsWWA and am attaching for you to save to your computer, please do NOT change the file name. Thank you.

• Only filters I used were Super Blade Pro and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, those were just for the text, so not crucial for any of the actual image effects.

• Font used was Tango Bold Italic, but use whatever font you wish.

• I used a scrapkit by the lovely Laura of Cinnamon Scraps, called Softly, it is for sale here but any kit that has soft colors will work nicely with this tutorial.

Here's the mask to go ahead and save:

Okay ready, let's go!

1. Open up a large canvas, I usually start with 700 x 700 with a white background. I like to start large and then re-size as needed later, just so I have lots of space to work with. We will re-size and crop later. Now some don't like white backgrounds, that's okay, before you save, just hide the background and voila transparent. Very Happy

2. Take the CS_Softly_Frame3 and paste onto your canvas. Re-size to your liking. Any frame will do,I just like the circle frame for this tut. Now see it's all white? Nice color but not for my choosing of this tutorial lol. So I want to add paper to it. So with that frame layer selected, do select all, float, defloat, and invert selection.

3. Open up the paper named CS_Softly_Paper6 and paste on top of frame as a new layer and press delete. Because you have selection inverted, you just have the paper on the frame. Looks pretty I hope! Select none. Now go ahead and delete the layer with the white frame, we are done with it. You should be left with colored frame shape.

4. Now lets get that same paper background (just cuz I think it's so pretty!) behind the frame too. With your magic wand tool, click inside that frame, expand selection by oh let's go with 5 this time and invert selection. Then select the white background layer. Paste that paper again as a new layer and then press delete. That will just leave the paper background in the middle and it seems seemless with the frame.

5. Take your tube and paste it as a new layer between the paper background and the frame. So it looks like she just blends right into it.

6. We want to make that frame 'pop' just a tiny bit but nothing major so go and select the frame layer and we are going to give it a drop shadow. I chose to have 0, 0, 48, 4 and the color black.

7. Alright now we want to have a background behind the frame. Once again go and paste CS_Softly_Paper6 as a new layer on top of the white background layer. Apply the mask I supplied to it (or a different one if you prefer). Merge layer group and then if you chose use your deform tool to make it look how you wish.

8. Ahhh almost done! Now let's re-size the tag to your liking, do any cropping and all that fun stuff. Now we want to be sure to add the artist's copyright and your watermark to your tag. I always re-size before adding copyright so that it is as clear and legible.

9. Now lets do some text. I chose the font Tango Bold Italic, size 90 (older versions of PSP you can use a smaller font size, it's all preference at this point). I had my font colors as white foreground and background and applied a Super Blade Pro setting. The one I used is by the talented Kris of Paint Shop Stop. I then applied a very subtle gradient glow, I think I use that filter on every text I do lol. Then applied a subtle drop shadow as well.

That's it! We're done, I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial and I look forward to seeing what you create with it.
