What you will need:
PaintShop Pro, I used version 9 but any version should work.
Tubes of choice, (close up and half image work best) I used the amazing artwork of
Ismael Rac which I purchased from
AMI. Please do not use Ismael's artwork without the proper license from AMI!!
Kit of choice, I used the awesome PTU kit by Ali/Designs by
Ali which I purchased from
Twilight Scraps.
Template 240, by MissyMinx of Divine Intentionz. Look under
Template links 221-240. Thanks Minxy!
Mask, I used music mask 2 by Jenny, which you can download from the
Creative Misfits Creations Blog. Awesome Jenny, thanks Hun!
Font of choice, I used 2 Peas Rock Star, but any grungy rock font should work just as well.
FILTERS USED:
Xero - Radiance
Xero - Nostalgia
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Tramages - Tow The Line
Open mask and template in PSP. Minimize mask. Shift D to duplicate Missy's template 240. Close
original. Delete Credit, skull, thin rectangle 1 & thin rectangle 2. Highlight background layer, Image -
Canvas Size. (Screenshot below) 650 X 500. Floodfill white bg layer.
Layers - add a new raster layer - Selections - Select All - Copy and paste paper of choice into selection
, I used paper 19 - Selections - Select None. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - choose
Musicmask2byJenny, invert data UNCHECKED. Click Ok, merge group.
Highlight circle layer - Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - add a raster layer - copy and paste
paper of choice into selection, I used paper 23. Selections - Select None. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Highlight rectangle 3, apply Tramages - Tow the Line, settings below. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Highlight rectangle 2 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat - add a raster layer - copy and paste
paper of choice into selection, I used paper 18 - Selections - Select None. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Highlight rectangle. Pick 2 colors from your tube or scrap kit. I'm using #3C4D2F/#617E4C. Make
a gradient, settings below. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - add a raster layer - floodfill with
gradient. Selections - Select None. Copy and paste half image tube. Resize if needed, using smart
size. Move to the right hand side of rectangle, duplicate layer - Image - Mirror, move tube to the right
a bit, making sure tube is inside rectangle. Merge tube layer together. Highlight rectangle - Selections
Select All - Float - Defloat - Selections - Invert - highlight tube layer - hit delete on keyboard. Selections
- Select None. Change blend mode to soft light. Copy and paste close up tube, center between the
2 frames. Resize if needed, using smart size. Highlight rectangle - Selections Select All - Float -
Defloat - Selections - Invert - highlight tube layer - hit delete on keyboard - Selections - Select None.
Change blend mode to Hard Light.
Highlight thin rectangle 2. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds, settings below. Lower opacity to 30%.
Highlight Frame 1 background. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - add a raster layer - floodfill with
gradient. Selections - Select None. Copy and paste half tube, placing face in frame. Highlight rectangle -
Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Selections - Invert - highlight tube layer - hit delete on keyboard -
Selections - Select None. Duplicate tube layer. On original Adjust - Blur More. Apply Xero - Radiance.
Settings below. On copy change blend mode to Hard Light and drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Do the same with Frame 2 background. Only on original Apply Xero - Nostalgia. Settings below.
Highlight Frame 1. Adjust - Color Balance - Manual Color Correction. I used #89D23B. Screenshot
Below. Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise. Settings below.
Copy and paste bottlecap7, resize by 50%. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00. See tag for placement.
Copy and paste Keyboard2, resize by 50%. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00. See tag for placement.
Copy and paste Wingedbox1, resize by 50% twice. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00. See tag for placement.
Copy and paste Curlyribbon2, resize by 55%. Duplicate layer, move original below keyboard layer.
Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00. Highlight copy ribbon layer. Erase parts of ribbon. See tag for example.
Copy and paste RockDoodle1, resize 60%. Free rotate 80 left. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00. See tag
for placement.
Highlight music notes layer, change blend mode to Luminance Legacy.
Highlight Wordart layer, drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Add copyright and watermark. I used 2 Peas Rock Star Font. #73B733, added noise (same as frame)
and added a fat white gradient glow. Drop shadow 2/-1/50/5.00.
Crop if needed and save as png or jpeg.
