What you will need:
Paint Shop Pro, I used version 9, but any version should work.
Tube of choice, I used one by Tom Hoover, that I bought from MPT. Please do not use this tube if you haven’t bought it from MPT.
Scrap kit by the very talented Vix, it’s a PTU kit that’s up for a limited time and on sale called Valentine. You can buy it on her blog HERE. Thanks so much Hun, it’s gorgeous!
Font used – Indoctrine from dafont
Filters Used:
Mura Meister – Copies
Xero – Radiance
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Let’s begin.
Open a 625 X 550 transparent canvas, floodfill white.
Copy and paste frame 6 and resize by 85%, Adjust – Sharpen. Add drop shadow of choice, I used 2/-1/50/3.00.
Using Magic wand Click inside frame, and remember to get all the parts of the frame. Selections – modify – expand by 5, copy and paste paper of choice, I used paper 12, resize by 85%. Selections – Invert – hit delete on your keyboard. Selections – None.
Copy and paste tube of choice, move to the left side (see my tag for placement) duplicate layer and Image – mirror. Merge layer down. Set blend mode to soft light and duplicate layer.
Copy and paste tube again, placing it in the middle of the frame. Duplicate layer. On original Adjust – Blur – Gaussian Blur 3.00, set blend mode to Hard light. Highlight copy layer and add Xero – Radiance, screen shot below. Drop shadow, of choice or the one I used 2/-1/50/3.00.
Highlight background layer. Copy and paste element 52.
Highlight top layer, copy and paste element 40, resize 70%. Add drop shadow of choice, or use the one I’ve used above. Adjust – Sharpen. Erase parts of the string to make it appear as the half of the string falls behind the heart.
Copy and paste element 81, resize by 70% sharpen and add drop shadow. Check tag for placement.
Copy and paste element 38, resize by 70% - two times, sharpen. Apply Mura Meister – Copies, settings below. Arrange to above the glitter layer.
Highlight top layer, copy and paste element 11, resize by 60%, sharpen. See tag for placement.
Copy and paste element 15. Re-size by 60%. Free rotate 60 left. See tag for placement. Duplicate layer. Image – Mirror – Image Flip. Merge layer down. Sharpen and add drop shadow.
Copy and paste element 4, resize by 60%, adjust – sharpen. Add drop shadow and place on leaves.
Highlight Soft Light tube layer, copy and paste element 26, duplicate layer – Image – Mirror – Image – Flip. Merge layer down. Highlight paper backing of frame, Select – Select All – Float – Defloat – highlight element 26 layer, Selections – Invert and hit delete on keyboard.
Add name, copyright and watermark. I used Indoctrine, size 72 black. Added a fat white Gradient Glow 3.00 and drop shadow.
